About Me

Therapy Approach

I use personalized creative therapy approaches tailored to each client. I provide a safe and nurturing environment and am actively engaged in sessions with clients.  The therapeutic process is most effective through developing a strong relational connection (building trust) between the client and the therapist. I believe therapy is a collaborative team effort. Generally, my therapy orientation relies heavily on family systems relationship dynamics. I utilize several family therapy frameworks or lenses including: structural, emotionally focused (attachment based), experiential, and cognitive-behavioral therapies.  I use a strength based, solution-focused, holistic approach to counseling.  I believe mental and emotional health directly aligns with relational satisfaction and spirit, mind, and body health and balance.  Other therapy approaches are used to address specific problems or issues and can be discussed with me if interested.

Christian (Bible based) counseling is available.
